Situated in central Florida, Orlando couples a quaint downtown, with incredible climate, outdoor activities, and of course the world renowned DIsney World. With a population of nearly 3 million in the metropolitan area, Orlando has its share of incredible wedding destinations. Away from the glitz and glamor of Miami/Fort Lauderdale and South Beach, up the coast from the gritter Tampa and the intercoastal, Orlando still maintains a distinct feeling from the northern Florida cities of Jacksonville and Tallahassee. This central Florida city sits around swamps and the summer months get balmy.
